Job Description:

We’re looking for a Software Technical Specialist to join our GWAM INV L2 Application Support team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to:

• Be responsible and provide wide variety of systems from a Level 2/3 perspective in supporting and maintaining critical and non-critical products/applications across GWAM.
• Be involved with an Agile, high performing team doing application support, application deployment, business requirement gathering, troubleshoot production defects, provide technical analysis and work with multiple stakeholders to drive issues to resolution that conform to Manulife standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident, Change and Request Management.
• Work with business clients, internal and external teams to debug or trouble shoot applications.
• Coordinate and collaborate the development efforts with the development team for major enhancements.
• Investigate feed/file delivery, quality check and failures using any batch or workflow related tools by the team.
• Liaise between business users and IT internal and external teams.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree holders
• Experience: Minimum 2 years working experience supporting systems at Level 2 (support).
• Hybrid Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3x a week onsite) / Rotating shift / Oncall

• Minimum Skills to Hire/Must Haves:
  • Proven ability to multitask both independently and within a team.
  • Client and action oriented, takes initiative, creative and proactive thinker.
  • Ability to understand business process requirements and using technology, conceptualize creative solutions through to implementation.
  • Understanding of Azure Cloud Technologies
  • Successful candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in at least 4 of the following technologies:
    • CA Workload Automation
    • ServiceNow / Jira / other workflow tools
    • MS SQL / Oracle
    • Shell Scripting/ Power Shell / UNIX
    • PowerBI
    • Informatica development (or related ETL tools)
