University or college grads working towards a CPA designation can gain experience and build their skills through our CPA Development Program. Placements rotate across a variety of areas within Manulife, including financial planning and analysis, internal audit, corporate controllers, taxation, risk, Manulife Bank external reporting, Group Benefits financial reporting, internal controls and Wealth and Asset Management.

Graduates with a degree in actuarial science, math, finance or a related discipline are invited to consider a career as an actuary. Actuaries contribute to our ongoing success through product development and business valuation. Placements are available in a variety of areas, including pricing, valuation, capital management, risk management, asset-liability management, mergers and acquisitions, hedging, predictive analytics and corporate oversight.

Manulife LEAD (Leadership, Experience, Advocacy, and Development) is an 18-month future-focused graduate development program that aims to attract candidates with the potential for either a General Management and/or business leadership career trajectory. Management associates complete 3 six-month rotations both within your local market and opportunity to participate in overseas assignments to experience another market firsthand. Digital marketing brings together marketing technology and demand generation to deliver a tailored customer experience that help raises brand awareness, generate leads, secure sales and increase brand loyalty. We’re looking for graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business administration or commerce, dual degree in business/computer science or a related discipline as well as well as a working knowledge of digital marketing, marketing technology, analytics or social media. 

The Operations team handles a range of mission-critical activities, from fund and client administration to validating fund performance, trade support, fraud prevention and more. Our New Grad Program focuses on technical expertise, leadership training and soft skills.

Our two-year HR program consists of four six-month assignments in high-impact functional areas such as human resources business partnering, people analytics, diversity, equity and inclusion, global learning, talent management, talent acquisition and total rewards. Candidates gain experience across a variety of core HR areas, an understanding of our global HR operations and a view of the strategic role HR plays in the company’s overall success.

Our Investment Division Rotational Program is an intensive two-year program that’s been turning out top investment professionals for over 20 years. You’ll develop cross-functional experience across multiple asset classes including real estate, fixed income, public equities, private equities and credit.

Our technology program is designed to equip recent IT grads with the skills, experience and confidence they need to succeed. The two-year program features 12 months in software engineering and data engineering, providing well-rounded training.
